this app is amazingly awwsome i use it for my ipad and it works nice. but i wish it could give you your own number.

I was wondering could you guys make a calling app? please.

I cant get my replies to come to the textie app. They go to email - which defeats the purpose of having the app entirely. Tried contacting cust support & never got help. Tried reinstalling - nothing works! :( Used to be a fantastic app, now its only good for sending - which is basically useless.

Below is my original 5 star review.since the oOS update it is FUBAR! So much for a good app and 5 stars. This is one FANTASTIC app. Super useful and easy to use. But they need only to have the from and the message, get rid of all that garble. Some people that get my first textie message cant tell who it came from. All in all I love it, plus its FREE! Oh, move that backspace key, when trying to backspace you often hit send.

This is a good app however typing is a little difficult given that the text box keeps disappearing when I type

I got this app a few days ago. Now I can text people who dont have iMessage! I was using text free this is fast speed, easy, and NO ADDS. I highly recommend this app.

Today my app wont work. I tried reloading but that doesnt help! Whats happening?

Textie has not been working for me on my IPad lately. As soon as I start to type the message, I cant see what I am typing. I used to really like using this App!

Loved using this until iOS 8 update... Keyboard update makes pressing Send impossible and cannot see what I type until I drop the keyboard out of the way. Please fix this or give out a workaround...thanks!

You have to disable predictive typing in order to get the message text box to stay visible. Otherwise it disappears under the keyboard making it impossible to type a message to anyone. The morons at Apple broke another piece of great software that will never get fixed because this is now abandonware. They cant even make the freaking App Store review section work properly unless youre in portrait mode. Look what theyve done to your song, Steve Jobs. Ugh...

I love this app but I would recommend one thing. Most of my friends dont want to download another texting app so to avoid my problem it would be nice if you gave the users of the app a personal phone number to text any phone.. If you do this I will definitely be a user of this app more often.

Dont waste your time or money. This application still has the keyboard and send button issue. Also did several tests which did not end well. You can send out text messages via Textie, however the reply come back to the email app, not Textie. That makes this application useless.

I wish it had voice talking too

This app is amazing no doubt but theres one little thing that is annoying me about this app. Every time I hit the text bar, my keyboard comes up but then the text bar disappears down to the bottom and then its hard to hit the send button, I have to hit the send button as fast as I can before it disappears again. So if u can please make an update for this app so that can be fixed.

Ive read a few reviews that people were having trouble when trying to send messages and not having good access to the send button. I found that if you undock or split the onscreen keyboard it places the keyboard just above the message box and send key. This has helped especially with me son. We use the app for when hes away from home since he only has a wifi connection for his iPad. (To undock the onscreen keyboard hold the "lower keyboard" button, down in the right hand corner of the board. And it will ask to split or undock. Hold down again to dock the keyboard.) hope this helped some that were having issues with that feature.

Good idea for an app, but every message is also sent to my email. Ive verified but cant get it to stop. Defeats the purpose.

Love it because I have been looking at billions of apps and none of them are this good

Ive been using this app for many years and it has gotten better over time. I would like to see more customizable options. For example, a few font choices, more bubble colors, background image and possibly a makeover for the app icon.
